Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Clifton is seeking an Afterschool Site Coordinator to oversee the C.L.I.M.B., 21st CCLC program at Christopher Columbus Middle School in Clifton, NJ. The role reports to the 21st CCLC Project Director and emphasizes safety, staff supervision, and program quality.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in before/after school programs.
• Experience / knowledge in developing, and implementing, enrichment programs that nurture the potential of youth.
• Knowledge in providing leadership and support to staff with diverse experience and education levels.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol test as required.
• Must attain CPR/First Aid and Child Abuse certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet qualifications for School Aged Site Supervisor under NJ Dept. of Licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision and implementation of the C.L.I.M.B., 21st CCLC program.
• Supervise staff as they implement a wide-ranging program plan focusing on academic and personal development.
• Provide leadership and support to staff with diverse experience and education levels.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings; communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
• Review staff lesson plans and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
• Ensure NJDCF licensing compliance and reporting, including attendance and incidents.
