Job summary

Newark Alliance is seeking a Project Lead for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program at Eagle Academy, Newark, NJ. This part-time role (25 hours/week, 1:00pm–6:00pm) supports site administration, data management, and youth enrichment after school.

You will supervise a team of 4–6 Project Leads, ensure policy compliance, collect data, and report to the Director of Afterschool. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, comprehensive programming at the site during the school year.
• Ensure site is in compliance with school, NYCP, and 21CCLC policies.
• Maintain site data including student enrollment, daily attendance, and surveys.
• Conduct monthly site meetings with school leadership to foster relationships and align afterschool programming.
• Attend weekly Site Manager meetings to discuss program initiatives and updates.
• Manage assigned Project Lead staff including scheduling and timesheets.
• Facilitate weekly team/site meetings at the school site.
• Maintain an inviting, safe, and orderly environment for students, staff, and families.
