Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Afterschool Coordinator in Sanford, NC for a part-time role focused on delivering a safe, engaging after-school program aligned with YMCA values. You will supervise staff, coordinate activities for children, and ensure a high-quality experience for families.

This position requires supervising experience with children and current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, plus Child Abuse Prevention training within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Previous experience supervising children.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department Level 1 staff and provide coaching.
• Manage department inventory, supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Schedule department staff per YMCA policies and inform supervisor of vacancies.
• Provide safe supervision and maintain a welcoming environment for participants.
• Plan and implement activities that are culturally relevant and in line with YMCA values.
• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the program.
• Attend staff meetings and YMCA trainings as directed.
