Job summary

Arc Experience in Los Angeles is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead afterschool programs at Animo Ralph Bunche Charter High School. You will manage staff, mentor Program Leads, and help develop skills to deliver high-quality activities that foster growth and engagement.

The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and teamwork, with responsibility for scheduling, parent communication, attendance, and compliance, while supporting students’ academic and personal development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in after-school programming operations and administrative skills.
• 1+ years’ experience managing a team.
• English–Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• College credits or proficiency exam completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily afterschool programs aligned with mission.
• Ensure programs are engaging and age-appropriate for development.
• Recruit, train, and manage afterschool program staff.
• Serve as primary contact for school administration and partnerships.
• Develop staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing professional development to staff.
• Maintain safe, inclusive environment for staff and students.
• Address student behavior positively per guidelines.
• Monitor attendance and engagement; communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with district staff to align goals with needs.
• Maintain records: attendance, incidents, program evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
• Develop and manage program budget and resources.
• Oversee program setup, materials, space, equipment.
• Coordinate transportation and meals as needed.
• Be the primary contact for the afterschool program with stakeholders.
