Job summary

The Child Center of NY seeks a Group Leader to support children in after-school programs, facilitating activities, and preparing lesson plans. You will help maintain a safe, engaging environment and supervise participants after school hours.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and content-specific experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently are required. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework help and supervise children in after-school programs.
• Supervise and take daily attendance of participants.
• Assist tutors and activity staff to manage and document behavior.
• Maintain supplies and space.
• Assist with data collection and participant documents upkeep.
• Attend program meetings as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
