Job summary

The Tobin School in Natick is seeking energetic part-time Group Leaders for our afterschool program. You will support elementary age students, plan activities, and work closely with a team of educators.

Qualifications include being 18+, experience with children, and a sense of eagerness to join our professional team. EEC Group Leader qualification is preferred and a Bachelor's Degree or EEC licensing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is required.
• EEC Group Leader Qualified preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or EEC licensing is a real plus.
• Eagerness to join Tobin's professional team of educators.

Responsibilities

• Work closely in a team-teaching atmosphere providing a warm, caring environment for children.
• Guide and support children in developing interpersonal skills in a fun, respectful, and safe environment.
• Plan and run daily activities for school-aged children.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, faculty and parents/guardians.
• Oversee and facilitate the general safety of the children’s environment and activities.
• Act as a role model in appearance and behavior, communicating professionally with children.
