Job summary

The Tobin School in Natick is seeking energetic part-time Group Leaders for our afterschool program. You will support elementary age students, plan activities, and work closely with a team of educators.

Qualifications include being 18+, experience with children, and a sense of eagerness to join our professional team. EEC Group Leader qualification is preferred and a Bachelor's Degree or EEC licensing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is required.
• EEC Group Leader Qualified preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or EEC licensing is a real plus.
• Eagerness to join Tobin's professional team of educators.

Responsibilities

• Work closely in a team-teaching atmosphere providing a warm, caring environment for children.
• Guide and support children in developing interpersonal skills in a fun, respectful, and safe environment.
• Plan and run daily activities for school-aged children.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, faculty and parents/guardians.
• Oversee and facilitate the general safety of the children’s environment and activities.
• Act as a role model in appearance and behavior, communicating professionally with children.

Tobin Afterschool in Natick is seeking enthusiastic, energetic part time Group Leaders for our Natick campus to support elementary aged students during afterschool hours. Part Time Positions:

• Part-time positions of 20-30 hours per week, working 1:30-6:00, Monday to Friday at our Tobin Afterschool program
• Extended hours neededon public school early release days, school vacation days, and snow days
• School year position with option of summer employment

Position Description:

• Workclosely in a team-teaching atmosphere providing a warm, caring environment for children.
• Guide and support the children in their development of interpersonal skills in a fun, respectful, and safe environment.
• Plan and run daily activities for school-aged children
• Establishand maintaina positive interpersonal relationship with all children, faculty and parents/guardians.
• Overseeand facilitatethe general safety ofthe children’s environment and activities.
• Actas a role model for the children regarding appearance and behavior, communicating with children in a clear professional manner.

• Candidates must be 18 or older
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a MUST
• EECGroup Leader Qualified preferred

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Dept. of Education Early Education and Care (EEC) licensing is a real plus!

About The Tobin Schools Natick:

The Tobin School in Natick operates three programs on its large Natick Campus. The Tobin Children's School offers full-year, full-day early childhood options for infants up to PreK. The Tobin School offers school-year, school-day early childhood early childhood programs for preschool up to to JrK. Tobin Afterschool offers afterschool and vacation week care for grades K to 4, as well as summer options for children 4.5 to those entering Grade 5.
