Job summary

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF GREATER DALLAS seeks a Youth Development Professional for weekday afternoons. This part-time hourly role runs programs for members aged 6–18, emphasizing safety, engagement, and positive youth development.

You will deliver BGCD/BGCA programs, supervise activities, and build relationships with members and families while maintaining program areas and records. CPR/First Aid will be provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be at least 18; 21 to work with teens or drive per BGCD rules.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children or youth development.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Deliver after-school and in-house programs for youth ages 6–18.
• Maintain safe, engaging environments and monitor member behavior.
• Orient new members to program areas and activities.
• Assist with membership administration and program registration.
• Support club operations and participate in staff meetings.
