Job summary

Walpole Public Schools Extended Day Program is seeking a Site Coordinator for the elementary program. The role is full-time with 210 work days and hours 11:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus occasional morning coverage and evening/weekend support for community engagement. Starting rate is $26.90/hour.

The program emphasizes safety, supervision, and building a positive, structured after-school environment for students, with a 13:1 student-to-adult ratio and varied activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 12 months of supervised experience in an out-of-school setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Ensure active supervision, safety, and well-being of all children.
• Oversee staff scheduling, supervise assistants, and coordinate coverage.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and verify authorized dismissals.
• Foster professional communication with families and engage with the community.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to program policies and continuous improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Extended Day Program.
