Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Compliance in Somerset, NJ. You will serve clients in diverse environments, perform unarmed patrols, and support access control to deter incidents. The role offers flexible scheduling with Saturday and Sunday shifts, including overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory facilities, controlled-access areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, chemical-related concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
