Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Rehabilitation Technician to support afternoon rehabilitation services at the McHenry location. 1–2 hours daily with potential for additional hours at other clinics in McHenry County.

You will assist licensed clinicians, help transport patients, and maintain a clean, organized rehab environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS within 90 days of hire; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or in pursuit).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Physical ability to perform the required duties.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care under licensed therapists.
• Transports/escorts patients within the Rehab Department.
• Performs cleaning, restocking, and environmental upkeep.
• Handles general clerical duties and schedules patient therapy.
• Maintains equipment temperatures and cleans treatment areas.
• Maintains department records and supply inventories.
• Attends team meetings and contributes to coordinated care.
