D & M Behavioral Solutions in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work afternoons and support children with autism in home, school, and community settings.

Join a team that provides hands-on ABA therapy, data collection, and real supervision from BCBA staff. The role fits around classes or family commitments with a schedule from 2pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current RBT certification or able to certify within 180 days.
• Valid Florida driver license, reliable car, and auto insurance.
• Tablet or laptop for session notes.
• Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening.
• Passion for working with kids and families.
• Positive attitude, patience, reliability, and strong communication with families and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Teaches communication, social, play, and daily living skills through play-based and naturalistic ABA.
• Collects accurate data in real time and completes session notes in ABA Matrix within 24 hours.
• Responds to challenging behavior using the strategies in the behavior plan.
• Checks in and out of every session at the point of care.
• Communicates professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and the treatment team.
• Participates in monthly supervision and ongoing training.
• Maintains client confidentiality and follows D & M policies and the RBT Ethics Code.
