25N Coworking in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a part-time Coworking Porter for 20 hours per week, with afternoon shifts 2pm–6pm, Monday through Friday. You’ll help maintain a clean, magazine-ready space, assist with event setups and breakdowns, and support members and guests throughout the day.

Your role includes moving furniture, setting up rooms, handling basic Handy-person tasks, and ensuring spaces stay tidy between events. A friendly, customer-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform repetitive and/or physical tasks, including lifting.
• Basic maintenance skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Attention to cleanliness and organization, on-brand event setups.
• Willingness to collaborate with staff to maintain space readiness.
• Adaptability to changing schedules and events; independent when needed.
• Customer-oriented approach to assist members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Member + Event General Support: respond to requests, guide visitors, manage guest flow.
• Event setup: move tables/chairs, set up AV, decorations, catering areas, coffee stations.
• Event breakdown: disassemble setups, store equipment, reset rooms for next event.
• Handy-Person: perform minor repairs, restock supplies, report maintenance needs.
• Cleaning & magazine-ready space: clean floors, wipe surfaces, manage trash and dishes.
