Job summary

Sumitomo Drive Technologies in Lufkin, TX is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Production Supervisor to lead daily aftermarket operations—repair, remanufacturing, inspection, assembly, warehouse, and logistics—to ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, workforce development, and achievement of key objectives. Strong background in Lean manufacturing and supervision will support performance across Safety, Quality, and Delivery metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing, repair, remanufacturing, or industrial operations experience.
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead safety initiatives to promote a zero-incident culture.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations including inspection, repair, assembly, warehouse, and logistics.
Monitor workflow, labor utilization, capacity, and resource allocation to meet production and project schedules.
Ensure on-time delivery and customer commitments.
Partner with Materials Planning to align labor with material availability.
Drive continuous improvement and 6S workplace standards.
Develop and mentor shop personnel and drive talent development.
Maintain inventory accuracy and asset control.
