• Understanding of cost of quality, root-cause analysis and corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in production and testing activities.
• Prioritize schedules by manpower, equipment, capacity and materials.
• Participate in operational meetings.
• Support development and tracking of performance metrics.
• Schedule and conduct milestone meetings.
• Responsible for meeting or improving cycle time performance and other metrics.
• Ensure timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction.
• Interface to meet customer/vendor requirements; analyze cost of quality opportunities.
• Oversee the prevention of accidents and injuries; enforce safety.
• Ensure department training for staff and temporaries including EHS.
• Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Develop personnel with training and career development; coaching.
• Manage staffing: selection, hiring, rewards and discipline.
• Support capacity optimization and data-driven process improvements.
• Identify process and quality changes to improve capabilities.
