The Aftercare Grant Coordinator provides administrative and program-coordination support for the grant-funded assistance process managed by the Aftercare Department. The position is primarily accountable for the day-to-day administration of grant-funded intake and applications, including receiving applications, reviewing documentation for completeness, communicating with applicants, tracking application status, maintaining accurate records, and routing completed applications to designated personnel for review and funding decisions. The Aftercare Grant Coordinator serves as the central point of administrative coordination among applicants, Aftercare program staff, Finance, Program Leadership, and other designated personnel involved in the grant-funded assistance process.

Decision authority: Within established procedures and delegated authority, the Aftercare Grant Coordinator manages the administrative workflow associated with grant-funded intake and applications, including identifying missing documentation, requesting additional information, maintaining tracking systems, communicating with applicants, organizing grant-related files, and coordinating application follow-up. The position may make routine administrative decisions regarding application follow-up, documentation requests, maintaining tracking, scheduling, and workflow within established procedures.
The Aftercare Grant Coordinator does not have independent authority to approve, deny, authorize, modify, increase, decrease, or commit grant funding, and does not determine exceptions to grant eligibility requirements, authorize expenditures, or make final funding decisions unless such authority is separately delegated in writing. This is a nonclinical administrative and program-coordination position: the Aftercare Grant Coordinator does not diagnose mental or behavioral health conditions, provide psychotherapy or clinical treatment, provide case management, or make independent clinical-care decisions, and does not serve as a Grant Manager or assume responsibility for overall grant ownership, funder relations, grant strategy, or grant budget authority unless separately assigned by organizational leadership.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, human services, nonprofit management, social services, or a related field preferred. At least two years of progressively responsible experience in administrative coordination, client services, grant-funded programs, records management, or application processing preferred. Ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Valid driver's license with proof of insurance required when driving is an assigned function.
Job-related required competencies:
The position is based primarily at the Camp Hope Campus and involves regular computer and documentation work, direct communication with applicants and Veterans, meetings, and coordination with internal and external partners by telephone, video, email, and in person. The employee may move among campus buildings and approved community locations and may occasionally drive locally when assigned. The position may involve periods of high-volume application processing and time-sensitive follow-up, and evening or weekend schedule adjustments may be required based on program needs. The essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, which is available upon request.
