Job summary

Stmarydelaware is seeking a dependable Aftercare Aide to join our after-school care program in Delaware, Ohio. The role involves supervising students, assisting with snacks and homework, and ensuring a safe and joyful environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of various ages and is available Monday through Friday from 2:45–6:15 PM during the school year. Prior experience with children is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must complete all required Diocese of Columbus Safe Environment requirements, including VIRTUS training and background check.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising students in a safe, attentive, and caring manner.
• Helping maintain a calm, orderly, and welcoming aftercare environment.
• Assisting with snack, indoor and outdoor play, activities, and homework time.
• Supporting smooth transitions and student dismissal.
• Communicating respectfully and professionally with students, parents, and staff.
