Job summary

Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is seeking a caring and responsible After Care Aide to supervise students in the after-school program.

The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports the mission of our Catholic school community. Ideal candidates will have high school diploma or equivalent, and experience with children in education or childcare settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and actively engage with students during after-school hours.
• Assist with snack time, homework support, indoor/outdoor play, and organized activities.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure safety and well-being at all times.
• Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and parents.
