Job summary

Big City University seeks an After-School Team Leader (Part-Time, Interim) to engage at-risk elementary students with intensive tutoring and enrichment activities. You will supervise a team, assist with family events and field trips, and help deliver high-quality educational programs after school.

The role requires at least two years of volunteering or work with children, strong communication, and solid basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• At least two-year minimum experience volunteering or working with children and some leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, parents, volunteers and children.
• Good general computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage at-risk elementary students through tutoring to improve academic outcomes.
• Oversee a team to facilitate enrichment activities.
• Provide services and assist with parent events and field trips.
• Create and implement engaging activities for elementary students.
• Monitor safety and maintain a positive program environment.
• Contribute to reporting and attend required meetings.
