Job summary

Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC) Schools in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Lead Tutor for the after-school program. The role involves coordinating tutors, facilitating small group sessions and individual homework help in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will prepare materials, oversee activities, maintain records, and communicate with families and staff to support student success and program quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related field, or in-progress preferred.
• Minimum two years of tutoring experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Train new tutors and support the after-school program.
• Facilitate small group instruction and one-to-one homework support.
• Maintain attendance, timesheets, and incident reports as assigned.
• Create instructional materials and manage classroom environment.
