Job summary

Bradley County Schools seeks an After-School Tutor for a part-time interim role at Big City University. You will engage elementary students after school, delivering tutoring and enrichment activities with a team, while supporting parent events and field trips.

Responsibilities include program planning, safety, and collaboration with staff to create engaging, age-appropriate activities and maintain a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year volunteering or work with children.
• Excellent communication with staff, parents, volunteers and children.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage at-risk elementary students through tutoring and enrichment activities.
• Work with team leaders to facilitate experiences in enrichment activities.
• Provide services and assist the Site Coordinator in high-quality educational programs.
• Assist with parent and family education events and field trips.
• Create fun activities for all elementary age groups.
• Monitor and maintain a safe environment for participants.
