Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead and mentor in the classroom, implementing the curriculum to meet each child’s individual needs. You will create a safe, nurturing space for play and learning and partner with parents to ensure the best care and education.

You will also collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while building positive relationships with families, teachers, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills are required.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy is preferred.
• State trainer approval is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or be willing to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain them.
• Ability to communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support center success by working with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
