Job summary

Mad Science is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead an after-school science enrichment program for elementary students. Each one-hour, high-energy session follows a pre-set curriculum and runs weekly for 8–10 weeks. We provide training and materials; occasional daytime programming may be available.

This part-time role offers rewarding work that fits with your schedule. No teaching degree required; some college is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Some experience working with groups of elementary-age children (4-12) preferred.
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Fingerprint background checks required.
• Some college.
• Have a fun & outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.
• Each session is a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on class that meets for one hour each week for 8-10 weeks.
• Occasional daytime programming if your availability allows.
