Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast is hiring a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Curlew Creek Elementary in Palm Harbor, FL. You will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe, nurturing environment, and align programming with YMCA values.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, program design with SEL and academic support, family engagement, budgeting support, and compliance with licensing standards. Must have 2+ years childcare experience and CPR/First Aid within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a child-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of childcare and staff supervision experience.
• CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days of hire; MODS training within 12 months.
• Florida Director Credential preferred; meets YMCA Suncoast driving criteria.
• Lifeguard & Listen First certification preferred (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Engage families, school staff, and community partners at events.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor site finances; support fundraising.
• Ensure child protection and document incidents; maintain safe spaces.
