Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at AJ Smith Elementary School in Union Springs, NY for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour and a schedule that runs from 2:30 to 6:00 pm, following the local school calendar.

You will lead engaging activities, supervise students, maintain safety, follow program policies, and collaborate with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• ONE of the following qualification options is required: a) HS diploma + two years of direct experience with children under 13; b) School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential + one year of experience with children under 13; c) Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities) and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
