Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at AJ Smith Elementary School in Union Springs, NY for the 2026-2027 school year.

This part-time, non-exempt role runs 2:30–6:00 pm, follows the school calendar, and includes employer-paid childcare while you work. Ideal for education majors, students, or professionals who love mentoring children and supporting learning through play.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of caring for children under 13 or similar experience.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and program policies.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, art, homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and engaging environment and model positive behavior.
• Observe and follow state guidelines and host school policies.
• Support program operations including attendance, registration, and staffing.
