Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for the After School Program at Tuggle Elementary School in Birmingham, AL. This part-time, non-exempt role runs 2:30 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, following the school calendar, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

The role emphasizes mentoring children, coordinating activities, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment as part of a mission-driven team. Employer-paid childcare is a featured benefit for program participants.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience working with children in school, childcare, camp, or youth program settings
• Some lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities
