Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our After School Program at Croydon Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

The position is part-time, non-exempt with an afternoon schedule (2:15–5:30 pm) following the school calendar. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates are 21+, possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent and have supervision experience with children; employer-paid childcare is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET/TASC).
• 3 college credits in management or supervision.
• Minimum of 1,500 hours experience with children in licensed program or school.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, arts, homework support).
• Oversee attendance, registration, scheduling, and staffing levels.
• Maintain clear communication with parents via the Playground App.
• Collaborate with supervisor to maintain high-quality care and positive team morale.
