Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for the After School Program at Tuggle Elementary School in Birmingham, AL. This part-time, non-exempt role runs 2:30 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, following the school calendar, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or early childhood coursework preferred
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
