Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager in New York to lead after-school and before-school enrichment programs. The role includes ensuring safety, supervising staff, and maintaining program documentation while engaging families and partners.

The position offers a split shift from 6:30 AM – 8:05 AM and 2:20 PM – 6:30 PM, with up to 28.75 hours per week and a sign-on bonus of $2,500. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities while delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in oral, written, and visual formats with adults and children.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of needs, including special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and joy standards and coach staff to ensure safety procedures and attendance protocols are followed.
• Support and report on safety protocols to ensure participant well-being.
• Engage families, clients, peers, and children to foster effective communication and relationships.
• Maintain accurate student check-in/check-out records and attendance procedures.
• Deliver daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
