Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to oversee before/after school programs in our partner schools in New Jersey. This role focuses on safety, program quality, and coordinating staff to deliver engaging, structured activities aligned with our mission to inspire a love of learning.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. The role runs Monday–Friday with split shifts and up to 25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and joy standards; coach staff and maintain docs and licensing.
• Report safety protocols and verify MMR documentation.
• Communicate with families, partners, and staff; respond to inquiries promptly.
• Maintain attendance records and check-in/out procedures.
• Implement daily activities and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
