Job summary

KIPP NYC is seeking an Associate, After School Assistant Program Director to support day-to-day operations of a high-quality after-school program across Bronx, Brooklyn, or Manhattan campuses. The role focuses on program operations, compliance with DYCD rules, and strong engagement with students and families.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will help ensure a safe, welcoming environment, supervise activities, and collaborate with school staff to align the day with after-school programming

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred and relevant experience in youth development or after-school programming.
Experience with DYCD regulations, reporting, and compliance is a plus.
Strong organization and written/spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support daily management and operation of the after-school program.
Coordinate activities, events, and administrative tasks with care and accuracy.
Maintain records and ensure DYCD compliance and program reporting.
Engage students and families to foster an inclusive, joyful program culture.
Assist with safety, incident documentation, and staff supervision as needed.
