Job summary

YMCA of the Pines is seeking an After School Site Supervisor for elementary aftercare at Upper Pittsgrove Elementary. You will lead small groups of children, ensure safety, plan activities, and maintain essential records.

Qualifications include 21+ years of age, child supervision knowledge, strong leadership, and good communication. First Aid/CPR training is required or provided by the organization. Join a team dedicated to safe, engaging, and development-focused after-school experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have knowledge in supervision and safety of children.
• Must possess leadership skills to encourage and motivate children.
• Must be able to identify age and grade level characteristics of children.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR training required or provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and safety of all children, staff and volunteers in all program activities.
• Plan and participate in all programs ensuring delivery of a quality program.
• Maintain accurate program records (snacks, rosters, attendance, time sheets, incident reports).
• Respond promptly to discipline concerns and ensure resources are available for all children.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and required trainings.
