Job summary

The YMCA of West Central Florida Lakeland site is seeking a Part-Time Childcare Site Manager to coordinate and supervise the after-school program. You will lead staff, ensure safety, and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with the YMCA mission.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, coordinating meals and HEPA-compliant activities, and ensuring licensing compliance, while building positive relationships with families and children in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school graduate or equivalent; college preferred.
• One-two years of experience in child care or management.
• CPR, First Aid, & AED certifications required within 30 days.
• Complete YMCA USA New Employee Orientation e-learning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise after-school program activities.
• Provide snacks and plan age-appropriate activities per HEPA standards.
• Supervise group leaders and ensure safety.
• Maintain records: sign-in/out sheets, attendance, timesheets, logs.
• Submit equipment and supply requests; open/close program.
• Attend staff meetings and 10 hours in-service yearly.
