The YMCA on-site Lakeland program seeks a coordinator to supervise staff and ensure a high-quality after-school experience for children. You will lead age-appropriate activities and maintain required records while upholding YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Role requires CPR/First Aid/AED within 30 days, 21+ age, and 1–2 years in child care or management. State licensing and program compliance are essential components of daily duties.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum age 21; high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in child care or program management.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise the after school program on-site daily.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with YMCA values.
• Maintain accurate records: sign-in/out, attendance, payments, timesheets, logs.
• Submit reports to Program Director within required timeframes and keep confidentiality.
• Open/close the program, manage setup, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Disperse medication with parent consent and physician approval.
• Attend required staff meetings and minimum 10 hours in-service per year after year one.
• Follow all guidelines from YMCA, school board, licensing, and contracts.
