Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast seeks a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Crystal River, FL. You will oversee a YMCA School-Age Program site, ensuring safety, developmentally appropriate activities, and alignment with YMCA values.

Role includes supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating lesson plans with social-emotional learning and academic support, and maintaining records while engaging families and the school community. Requires 2+ years in childcare and appropriate certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in childcare and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of youth development practices and child behavior management.
• CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the site, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Monitor program quality and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
