Job summary

The YMCA of the Suncoast in Palm Harbor, FL seeks a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Curlew Creek Elementary. You will lead the YMCA School-Age Program site, ensure licensing compliance, and provide safe, engaging youth programs aligned with YMCA values.

Responsibilities include program management, staff supervision, family and community engagement, budget oversight, and safety planning. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in childcare and supervision, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's in a child-related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of childcare and staff supervision experience.
CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days; MODS training within 12 months.
Florida Director Credential preferred; driving criteria compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations to maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
Design and implement lesson plans focused on social-emotional learning, academics, and enrichment.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers.
Engage families and community partners and represent the YMCA at school events.
Assist in budget and fee management; support fundraising and program finances.
Ensure safety procedures, incident reporting, and licensing compliance.
