YMCA of the Suncoast seeks a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Highland Lakes Elementary in Palm Harbor, FL. The role leads a School-Age Program site, ensuring alignment with YMCA values, licensing requirements, and youth development.

Reports to the Program Delivery Director and supervises staff and volunteers. Responsibilities include program management, staff leadership, family engagement, budgeting, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a child-related field preferred.
• Meet qualifications to be a staff member in charge (SMIC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of youth development and child behavior management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily site operations ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Design and implement lesson plans focused on social-emotional learning and academic support.
• Monitor program quality and licensing compliance.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers.
• Engage families and community; represent YMCA at functions and meetings.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor site finances and expenses.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed and documented.
• Handle safety and emergency response and document incidents.
