The YMCA of the Suncoast seeks a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Highland Lakes Elementary in Palm Harbor, FL. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and foster youth development while building strong relationships with families, staff, schools, and the community.

Rate of pay: $17.55/hr - $21.40/hr

Location: YMCA School-Age Program Sites
The Before and/or After School Site Supervisor is responsible for the administration, leadership, and operation of a YMCA School-Age Program site. This role ensures all programming aligns with YMCA values, meets licensing requirements, supports youth development, and fosters strong relationships with children, families, staff, schools, and the community.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a child-related field preferred.
Meet qualifications to be a staff member in charge (SMIC)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare and staff supervision.
Knowledge of youth development practices and child behavior management.
CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days of hire.
Must complete state-mandated training (MODS) within 12 months.
Florida Director Credential preferred.
Must meet YMCA of the Suncoast driving criteria.
Lifeguard & Listen First certification preferred (if applicable).
Must be at least 21 years old.
Capable of supervising large groups and managing active children.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and sustain physical activity outdoors for extended periods.
Must remain mentally alert and able to follow and give directions.
