Job summary

Right At School is hiring a part-time Program Manager in New Jersey to support before and after school programs. The role covers morning and afternoon shifts, up to about 23.42 hours weekly, with compensation $21.00–$26.00 per hour based on education and experience.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, split shifts: 7:00–9:05 and 3:30–6:00. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, have experience with children, and are familiar with Google tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and understanding of unique needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards when interacting with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support program staff in daily operations and safety procedures.
• Assist with attendance, check-ins/check-outs, and conflict resolution.
• Engage with families, partners, and children to foster effective communication.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with program policies.
• Contribute to daily activities and curriculum while ensuring a safe, engaging environment.
