Job summary

Right At School in Ohio is seeking a Program Manager to lead before- and after-school enrichment programs across district sites. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, manage attendance, and coordinate with Area Manager to meet program goals.

The role requires working mornings and afternoons, up to 30 hours per week, with a home base location and possible travel to different schools. Strong organization, communication, and knowledge of child development are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
• Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
• Identify and submit proof of MMR.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
• Safety Assurance: Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.
• Effective Communication: Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs and ensure attendance procedures are followed.
• Daily Routine: Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Education

Associate’s degree or higher in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field

Two years of training verified by an official transcript, including four courses in Child Development or Early Childhood Education

Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential

Pre-Kindergarten Associate Certificate

Montessori Pre-Primary/Early Childhood credential

Career Pathways Level 3 credential

CPL 2 with 2 years of licensed childcare experience

CPL 1 with 2 years of licensed childcare experience and plan to achieve CPL 2 within 12 months

Administrator Credential

High school diploma or GED
