Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager in New Jersey to oversee before/after school programs with a focus on safe, engaging activities and quality service. The role emphasizes communication with families and staff and ensuring compliance with state requirements and program standards.

The position offers a split shift schedule, opportunities to coach a team, and a mission-driven environment dedicated to enrichment and learning for students in local districts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
• Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: outline attendance protocols, safety procedures and coach staff to meet safety/joy standards.
• Safety Assurance: support and report on safety protocols and verify health documentation.
• Effective Communication: engage families, clients, peers, and children; respond promptly to inquiries.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain records for student check-ins/check-outs according to policy.
• Daily Routine: implement daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe environment.
