Job summary

Douglas County School District seeks a Program Manager - BASE to lead the Before and After School Enterprise program at Gold Rush Elementary. You will recruit, hire, train, and supervise BASE staff, while managing the site budget and ensuring regulatory compliance to support child well-being and development.

You will collaborate with families and other providers, promote safe environments, and implement programming focused on social-emotional growth and positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a related field or equivalent alternate qualifications as listed.
• Experience in supervising staff and managing programs for school-age children preferred.
• Knowledge of state regulations for child care programs and safety standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the BASE program at Gold Rush Elementary.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise BASE staff.
• Oversee site budget and financial administration.
• Develop and implement programming that promotes child well-being and development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Establish family connections and stakeholder relationships to drive positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with families and other providers to support children’s needs.
• Promote safe and nurturing environments and effective behavior strategies.
