Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools in Thornton, CO seeks a BASE Program Assistant to support daily operations of the District Before and After School Enrichment program. You will lead and support children during educational and recreational activities, field trips, and snacks, while coordinating with staff and the Site Director.

The role requires ensuring student safety, maintaining ratios, and assisting with attendance, billing, and parent communications.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise and engage groups of children in BASE activities.
• Strong communication with staff, parents and site director.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and reporting requirements in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily BASE operations and lead activities.
• Maintain student attendance and safety, manage behavior, and ensure staffing ratios.
• Assist with purchasing, billing, and enrollment processes.
• Provide first aid and CPR when needed and secure building after hours.
