Job summary

Sunnyside Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Group Leader to supervise K–5th grade participants after school. You will work with the Activity Specialist to implement engaging activities and ensure safety and well‑being.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, attendance tracking, and supporting SEL activities. Availability Monday through Friday 2–5:45 pm is required; opportunities to attend trainings and assist with events are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Available Monday–Friday, 2–5:45 pm (limited flexibility for school).
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience with children in a school setting is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of K–5th graders with staff; ensure safety.
• Maintain attendance, homework, and health logs.
• Create age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Prepare visuals and presentations for participants.
• Lead club activities and SEL activities as required.
