Job summary

Big Ideas Educational Services seeks a Site Manager to lead the daily operations of an out-of-school program. You will guide staff, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and create engaging experiences for students.

This role focuses on safety, organization, and instructional quality, ensuring all details align with our commitment to excellence and student success.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, after-school programming, or youth development.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Ability to lead a team and coach staff.
• Excellent communication with families, school partners, and staff.
• Comfort with data entry and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support program staff to deliver engaging activities.
• Onboard and train team members while reinforcing expectations.
• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure program coverage.
• Provide coaching and feedback to build a positive team culture.
• Coordinate daily academic, enrichment, STEM, arts, and recreation activities.
• Develop and implement engaging lessons and activities.
• Ensure programming aligns with school-day experiences and student needs.
• Monitor program quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and attendance procedures.
• Manage arrival, transitions, dismissal, and authorized pickups.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, schedules, and documentation.
• Monitor supplies, technology, and curriculum materials.
• Ensure safety policies and program requirements are followed.
• Build relationships with families, school admins, and partners.
• Be the professional point of contact for parents and guardians.
• Communicate clearly and professionally about questions or concerns.
• Maintain data accuracy in reporting systems and meet deadlines.
• Support positive student behavior with consistent strategies.
