Qualifications

• Experience in education, after-school programming, youth development, childcare, recreation, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support Activity Leaders, teachers, coaches, and other program staff.
• Onboard and train team members while reinforcing expectations and best practices.
• Coordinate staff schedules and daily assignments to ensure program coverage.
• Conduct daily team check-ins and provide coaching and feedback.
• Build a positive team culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and student success.
• Coordinate daily academic, enrichment, STEM, arts, recreation, and other program activities.
• Support development and implementation of engaging lessons and activities.
• Ensure programming complements the school-day experience and meets student needs.
• Monitor program quality and help staff continuously improve the student experience.
• Take ownership of day-to-day operation of the program site.
• Manage student arrival, attendance, transitions, dismissal, and pickup procedures.
• Maintain accurate program records, logs, schedules, and required documentation.
• Monitor supplies, technology, curriculum materials, and site inventory.
• Ensure policies, safety expectations, and program requirements are followed.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for parents and guardians.
• Develop positive relationships with school admins, teachers, and community partners.
• Communicate clearly and professionally when addressing questions or concerns.
• Create a welcoming environment where students and families feel connected to the program.
• Maintain accurate attendance and program records; review data and communicate trends to leadership.
