After-School All-Stars Los Angeles is seeking a Program Leader to support leadership and youth enrichment in academic, cultural and recreational activities for K-12 students. Working under the Program Coordinator, you will help create a safe and inspiring learning environment after school in a school setting.

Responsibilities include planning engaging activities, supervising students, coordinating with schools and guardians, tracking attendance, and assisting with field trips and program

Competenze

• Experience working with students in grades K-12 in recreational, educational and/or community youth outreach setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with School District staff, parents and community leaders.
• Fluency in a language other than English is highly desirable.

Mansioni

• Lead and assist in planning and implementing the daily after-school program under supervision.
• Maintain a 20:1 ratio using recruitment and retention strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with youth, guardians, and school staff to increase program visibility.
• Communicate attendance data, program progress and concerns to supervisor as part of QA processes.
• Supervise students during activities to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
• Assist with trips, events and space maintenance as needed.
