Job summary

Sun Prairie Area School District seeks a certified Community Schools Instructor for after-school programs. The Lead Site Instructor will supervise children, implement lesson plans, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

You will lead Site Instructors, communicate with families, and act as a substitute Site Coordinator as needed. The role emphasizes strong leadership, relationship-building with families and staff, and adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, or related field.
• Ability to nurture children and plan age-appropriate activities.
• Pass criminal background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise an assigned group of children during all activities.
• Assist in maintaining site cleanliness and safe environment.
• Complete daily notes, incident reports, and attendance records.
• Implement lesson plans, program organization, and schedule.
• Lead and support Site Instructors; substitute Site Coordinator when needed.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff; maintain confidentiality.
