Job summary

Think Together is seeking an After-school Instructional Provider Assistant to support TK-12 students within a district Expanded Learning program. You will deliver one-on-one and small-group instruction, supervise activities, and assist with homework using program resources.

Responsibilities include maintaining attendance logs, preparing materials, communicating with families, and modeling a positive, respectful attitude. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 48 College Units or pass NCLB test.
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
• Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position.
• While driving is not a regular requirement, employees who operate a vehicle must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance on file.
• Provide a clear TB test.
• Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal).

Responsibilities

• Work with and instruct individually and/or in small and large groups to support student goals.
• Implement effective classroom management, discipline, and instructional strategies.
• Implement PBIS, Restorative Practices, and Social Emotional learning activities.
• Set up activities daily; prepare and duplicate materials and operate instructional equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate the instruction and student progress.
• Maintain attendance sign-in/sign-out logs and other records.
